New Features

Bizgate are pleased to announce the addition of two new features that enhance the security of the system for all users. These features will be implemented in all live implementations from the 2nd October 2006. This allows all Agencies time to make plans and adjustments for the new features. These new features are:
 

• CVV Processing (All Applications)
• Refund Payments (Optional - IPOS Only)

The collection and processing of the Card Security Number (CVV) ensures that customers have the credit card on hand when making a purchase through Bizgate.  In conjunction with this addition, the Credit Card holder name will also be stored with transaction data, enabling easier reconcilliation for Agencies.

Bizgate's sophisticated electronic, payment gateway allows members of the Public and Business to make prompt, reliable and secure transactions with both State and Local Government.

• For State and Local Government, Bizgate's suite of web based business solutions, offers a secure, highly cost effective and seamless way of collecting funds and information. It has the capability to update backend systems automatically, process secure information and financial transactions (interacting with Bank infrastructure), whilst providing an array of relevant and useful reporting documents.
• For the Public and Business Community, Bizgate provides the ability for members of the Public and Business Community to quickly, easily and securely pay bills and fees, as well as submit applications and documentation to Government through three convenient methods:
   
  *  Phone (Call Centre or Interactive Voice Response (IVR)
  *  Over the counter (IPOS), or
  *  The Internet

To date more than $1.8 billion dollars worth of transactions have been processed through Bizgate, with a current average of 36,000 transactions each month on behalf of 64 Government Agencies, including 36 Local Councils.
