
Bizgate are pleased to announce the addition of two new features that enhance the security of the system for all users. These features will be implemented in all live implementations from the 2nd October 2006. This allows all Agencies time to make plans and adjustments for the new features. These new features are:
The collection and processing of the Card Security Number (CVV) ensures that customers have the credit card on hand when making a purchase through Bizgate. In conjunction with this addition, the Credit Card holder name will also be stored with transaction data, enabling easier reconcilliation for Agencies.
Bizgate's sophisticated electronic, payment gateway allows members of the Public and Business to make prompt, reliable and secure transactions with both State and Local Government.
To date more than $1.8 billion dollars worth of transactions have been processed through Bizgate, with a current average of 36,000 transactions each month on behalf of 64 Government Agencies, including 36 Local Councils.
